Brazil Coach: Tite

The 5 times world champions Brazil are coached by very experienced Tite who has been managing clubs mostly in Brazil since early 90’s. His career as a manager span around 3 decades and under him, Brazil are playing some of the best football since they won their last world cup back in 2002. Many beleive Brazil has regained their elite status under Tite who not only brought flair back but also pragmatic approach when needed in difficult games. His trusted 4-1-4-1 system where Casemiro and full backs (Marcelo and Fagner) serve both as first line of defense and also initiate attacks.

Possible Starting Lineup:

Brazil are sweating over Neymar’s injury should he be fit before the world cup he will lead the forward line in 4-1-4-1 system with four attacking midfielders supporting him in attack. Philipe Coutinho, Paulinho, Renato Augusto and Willian starting just ahead of Casemiro who play as defensive midfielder. Marcelona to continue at left back while Dani Alves or Fagner to fight for right back position. Thiago Silva has seem to lost his place in starting lineup with Miranda and Marquinhos preferred in central defense. Ederson is set to keep goal for Brazil in 2018 World Cup.
The system Brazil usualy use is 4-1-4-1 which is flexible as it can be changed to more conventional 4-3-3 without needing to make substitutions as both Willian and Coutinho can play on either side of Neymar in three man attack. Brazil also have quality players on the bench with the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Fernandinho, Walace. Firmino, Douglas Costa, Filipe Luis also in contention.

Youngsters to watchout for: Gabriel Jesus & Walace

This Brazilian side have players mostly in their prime but they do have couple of quality youngsters who might surprise in the 2018 world cup. City’s Gabriel Jesus has been revelation in Premier League (When fit) while another one to watch out for his Hamburg’s Walace who Tite knows from his time at Corinthians.
